AMAZON VOLUNTEERS "PULL" FOR TEENS TO REINFORCE STEM CONCEPTS
Special thanks to the Amazon volunteers that recently visited our After-School All-Stars partner site to inspire curiosity with teens and STEM. The group worked in teams on our Power Pulleys Wonder Kit ® to learn about how pulleys and force can be used to move heavy objects.

INTRODUCING DAS360°:
A NEW RESOURCE FOR AFTERSCHOOL EDUCATORS
Dallas Afterschool recently unveiled DAS360° , our new online system that enables our partners to access resources and quality improvement information on their own at any time . This innovative tool features easily searchable resources that we have collected over the past 12 years and also includes the ability to chat online with experts, sign up for training classes, and locate community resources.

Our partners at Kids-U have been using DAS360° during staff meetings to reinforce safety and quality. Nick Ward, Director of Program Quality at the agency reports, " DAS360 ° has completely revitalized my weekly manager meetings when it comes to gearing up for [safety and quality assessments]. I am able to share with my staff what exactly is being observed...It has also equipped us with handy links that are awesome and informative as well ."
