THANK YOU TO THE MAVS
Thank you to The Mavs Foundation and to Dallas Maverick, #6 Kristaps Porzingis for supporting Dallas Afterschool with a gift of $10,000 this past holiday season.

During the 2019-2020 Mavs season, for every block Porzingis made during the season, he personally donated $500 to the Mavs Foundation, totaling nearly $60,000! During the Annual Mavs Ball Kristaps also donated a dinner with him as a live auction experience, raising an additional $45,000 toward the initiative.

Thank you #6, we are huge fans and Go Mavs!
A MESSAGE FROM OUR CEO
Christina K. Hanger
2021 is not off to the start we wanted for our country. Recent events remind us, however, of the vital role Dallas Afterschool plays in our community and its future. By supporting our out-of-school time partners and lifting up our students with curriculum on social-emotional learning, trauma, and grief, we can do our part to affect positive change for years to come.

Now, more than ever, children in Dallas need us. Thank you for your support as we work to ensure every child in Dallas has the opportunity to succeed.

MADE OUR HOLIDAYS BRIGHT!
Special thank you to our friends at The Toy Maven for helping spread joy this holiday season by providing holiday gifts for our children!
YOUR VOICE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
The City of Dallas is developing a plan on how HUD funds should be used in our community. Now more than ever, it is important to express the value and need for out-of-school time programs in our community.

How can you help? Use your voice to show your support for afterschool programs by completing the City of Dallas FY 2021-22 Action Plan Survey

NOTE: Funding for afterschool programming is based on the city's recommendations for additional Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds.

The deadline for public comment is February 28th.
