MORE TRAINING FOR AFTERSCHOOL EDUCATORS!
Dallas Afterschool has been hard at work offering training courses on more topics than ever before! Below are some recent offerings:

  • Classroom Management
  • Youth Voice & Choice
  • Kickoff Learning Series
  • Self-Esteem & Anxiety Management for Youth
  • Students with Special Needs
  • High Impact Evidence-Based Practices for Literacy Instruction
  • Ages & Stages
  • Family Engagement

Trainings like these keep educators up to speed on the latest trends in afterschool. And, more importantly, they equip them with the tools they need to keep students safe and help them thrive.

Fall is here, which means Lights on Afterschool is just around the corner! On October 24th we will celebrate this event as part of a nationwide campaign to highlight the importance of afterschool. You can be a part of this effort by helping us spread the word or by giving to our Lights on Afterschool campaign. More information on this campaign is below.

Join our Young Professionals for an exciting new event! Take part in our cornhole competition and meet other young professionals while supporting Dallas Afterschool. Attendance is free and tournament entry is $20 per player ($15 for YP members). Prizes will be awarded to the winner, runner up, & final four. Tournament spots are limited.  Register today!
