SCAM ALERT FROM PASTOR BRENNAN

Someone recently sent an email impersonating Pastor Brennan soliciting Amazon gift cards. He will never ask for any money or gift cards from a member of the church. Any email communication will come from

brennan@shawneeumc.org or bcummings@greatplainsumc.org

Any calls will likely come from the church's number.

Please be aware of this scam and mark any suspicious emails as spam.

BOOK CLUB

The Book Club will meet August 28 to discuss HOW THE WORD IS PASSED by Clint Smith. Nancy Potter Wallace will lead.

We will meet again on September 25 and Connie will lead, CHILBURY LADIES CHOIR by Jennifer Ryan.

We meet in Common Ground and all are welcome.

CANDY FOR BINGO NEEDED

The Bingo group has run out of table snack candy for our Bingo players. If you would like to donate a bag or two of small wrapped candy it would allow us to spend our money on prizes, popcorn & lemonade! Any donations would be appreciated!
