Dear Tabor Village Family and Friends:
Tell Us How We Can Serve You Better
At Tabor Village, we strive to provide excellent service to residents/tenants, families, and supporters. We have offered several service initiatives to support our community, particularly over the past six months (November 2020 to April 2021) to address our COVID-19 crisis.

In an effort to further improve our service to you, our community, we need your feedback. The survey will ask you about our COVID-19 response, visitation, recreation, spiritual care, and communications.

Let us know how we did in our COVID-19 outreach initiatives and how we can do better for you and your loved ones moving forward.

Do Your Part & Get Vaccinated
We won't sugar-coat this because we know the difference vaccination makes. If you have the opportunity to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, we strongly urge you to grab hold of that privilege and do your part to protect yourself, your family, your loved one(s) in care and their neighbours.

As elated as we are to have our doors open to family and friends again, it also makes us susceptible to potential outbreaks. While we are praying for protection over our Village, it's important for you to know that in the event of an outbreak, all visits will stop immediately as mandated by Public Health. There is far greater risk with refusing the vaccine than we like to admit, but it's pivotal that we acknowledge the risks so we understand why the vaccine is such an important step to take.

To be clear, the desire for everyone to be vaccinated is NOT solely the desire of Tabor Village leadership, it is also the desire of residents and families who have expressed their own concerns with those who have yet to be vaccinated.

Simply put, do your part, get the vaccine, and protect this Village and our greater community.
Communications Update
As you are aware, we are moving from weekly e-newsletters to monthly e-newsletters. This email marks the end of the weekly updates. However, if any significant changes or updates occur throughout the month, we will send an additional e-newsletter as needed, otherwise it will be once a month.

"To Team Tabor,

As the family of Wilfred Strom we want to thank you for the excellent, kind, and sensitive care that my Dad and us received from Tabor.

This has been a long, tiring, difficult and sad year for Tabor.

We have nothing but gratefulness and admiration for you all as you have worked so hard and tirelessly to give all the residents the best care under such challenging conditions.

Dad was always grateful. His last ten days as his liver failed were very comfortable and he went to Jesus on Easter Sunday. His longing for heaven was realized and we are so happy for him. His 93 years of serving Jesus as a missionary to Africa were complete.

May God continue to give His strength as you care for the elderly.
