May 14, 2026

Congratulations to our boys lacrosse, girls lacrosse, and baseball teams for making their respective ISL tournaments. Girls lacrosse continues its great season Saturday (May 16) at 2 p.m. with a semifinals matchup at home on Kendall Field against Governor’s Academy. Thayer baseball also has a semifinals game that day as the squad travels to Milton Academy for a 3 p.m. clash against the Mustangs. Girls Track & Field and Boys Track & Field finished second and fourth in their ISL championships, respectively, and now head to the New Englands. On Saturday the girls will travel to Choate Rosemary Hall for the NEPSAC DI Championships while the boys will head to Governor’s Academy for the NEPSAC DII Championships. And best of luck to our girls tennis team as it chases a NEPSAC Class A berth. Go, Tigers!

Middle School Thank-You Notes Encouraged by May 27

TAPA and the Middle School are excited to bring back the Thayer tradition of showing appreciation to Middle School faculty and staff through the collection of handwritten notes from students. Notes can be written to teachers, coaches, music directors, nurses, etc. — whoever the student (and parent/guardian, too) feels has made a difference in that student's life this year.

Please encourage your student to write a thank-you note. These simple gifts are so very appreciated. After writing the note, please place each one in an individual envelope with the recipient's name written on the front. The notes should be dropped off at the Middle School office no later than Wednesday, May 27, as this will give volunteers enough time to sort them and package them for delivery prior to the end of school.

Please click here for a list of all Middle School faculty and staff.
