Parent/Guardian Coffee: Athletics Audit Review

The Thayer Athletics Department will hold a coffee Tuesday, June 9, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in Southworth Library. All Thayer parents and guardians are invited to join Director of Athletics Bobbi Moran, Associate Head of School Jed Wartman P ’30, ’32, and Head of School Chris Fortunato P ’26, ’28 for coffee and conversation.

Discussion will focus on the results of the Carney, Sandoe & Associates athletics audit and Thayer’s plans for co-curricurricular, intramural, and interscholastic activities for the 2026-27 school year. If you would like to submit any questions in advance, please send them to Director of Athletics Bobbi Moran.

Fall Team Store Deadlines Extended Until June 7

The deadline to order from the fall team stores has been extended until Sunday, June 7. Returning varsity student-athletes and those who aspire to be on a varsity team are expected to purchase the required items listed below each sport. The stores and all items are available for student-athletes at any level. This will be the only opportunity to buy these items. Purchasing said items will not guarantee a student-athlete's placement on any team.

If the purchase of required items presents a financial hardship for your family, please reach out directly to the Athletic Director Bobbi Moran as soon as possible. Thayer wants to ensure every student-athlete has what they need to participate.

Please note: The football program has added the Nike Men’s Polo as an additional required item.

The stores will now be open until June 7. No orders can be taken after the stores close. All sales are final. No returns or exchanges. All orders will ship directly to your home address.

Please contact Athletic Equipment Manager Marley O'Brien if you have any questions or concerns.
