Milestones in NCC's 20-year history
In December 2017, New Century Careers hosted a delegation from Nigeria comprised of policymakers, educators, technical experts and state legislators interested in vocational education opportunities for youth.

The group toured NCC's Training Innovation Center and engaged in a Q&A discussion with NCC team members.
MANUFACTURING 2000 (M2K)
New Century Careers is accepting applications for the tuition-free MANUFACTURING 2000 (M2K) Machinist Training Program and M2K Quick Train classes (the first 125 hours of the M2K program).

Classes are FREE to qualified students and are offered in three locations:

  • Eastern Westmoreland CTC Machinist Training - Evening Classes
  • McKeesport Machinist Quick Train - Daylight Classes
  • Pittsburgh (South Side) Machinist Training - Daylight Classes

BotsIQ
To kick off the 2019-2020 competition season, BotsIQ held its annual Teacher Professional Development at CCAC West Hills Center this month. Teachers and students spent the day in workshops designed to help prepare for this year's competition season.

Workshops included sessions on Building a Bot, Machine Shop Basics, using Solidworks to Create Engineering Documentation, Tooling U-SME and more.
