2. New Year, New Us!
2019 Resolutions aren't just for humans. They're also for small nonprofits! The amazing team at Someone Creative generously donated a brand redesign to IP so we can best represent our mission.

It's a really beautiful example of how different creative talents can be used to imagine a more hopeful future for prevention education and recovery. We'll be rolling out the new branding across the next few months. In the meantime, check them out!
3. Year in Review
2018 has been an incredible year at Improbable Players. We've had the pleasure of performing 101 shows and leading 73 workshops. Combined, this led to a total audience of 20,906 students, more than could fit in Madison Square Garden!

We've also had the pleasure of starting three new initiatives to bring our work to a bigger population. We've seen success with our residency at Ostiguy Recovery High School (which started in the fall), our Community Shows which brought big crowds to the Mosesian center in Watertown. And finally, our founding of another troupe in Cleveland Ohio has been kicked off!

All in all, it's been a big year of growth and change for the players, and we'd like to thank you all for your help and support!
4. Annual Appeal Thanks
We'd like to thank everyone who helped us once again make this year's end of year fundraising campaign our most successful yet. We raised just about $24,000 between November and December 31. Your support will allow us to perform shows in community and bring existing programs to schools in need.

  • That equals 12 fully funded Improbable Players shows and Q&A's, OR
  • 120 Workshops, OR
  • 24 hours of Professional development for educators, OR some mix of all three!

So thank you again to those who donated or helped to spread to the word!
5. Press & Press
Big thanks to the Concord Insider. They wrote up a promotion of our show at Concord High School in New Hampshire on December 5th! Check out what they had to say about our work here !
