Prayer can feel simple… and complicated. Natural… and mysterious. In this new sermon series, Teach Us to Pray, we’ll slow down and rediscover what it really means to talk with God.
Together we’ll explore:
-
Why We Pray – what draws us into conversation with God in the first place.
-
How We Pray – practical and meaningful ways to pray, whether your words are polished or messy.
-
When We Don’t Know What to Pray – how God meets us in silence, doubt, and groaning too deep for words.
-
What Prayer Does to Us – how prayer doesn’t just change circumstances… it changes us.
Whether you’ve prayed your whole life or aren’t sure where to begin, this series is for you. Come join us as we ask God together: “Lord, teach us to pray.”

Sunday Night
6:00pm | FLC
Last Sunday, we're starting a new two-week series called More Life, taking a deeper look into the Easter story and what it means for us today. Before Easter morning, there was darkness, grief, and emptiness as Jesus' followers watched Him die. But then, Jesus came back to life, and everything changed for the good! In this 2-week series from the Gospels and Epistles, we'll discover the resurrection didn't end on Easter Sunday-Jesus is still bringing us more life every day.

Mission Trip 2026
This year we're going to Stillwater, OK June 14-20. Make sure to put the dates on your calendar. Every year, the church hosts a pancake breakfast and egg hunt for the community. The student going on the mission trip cooks breakfast and sets up the FLC with tables, then after breakfast, it's the fastest egg hunt around. If your student is going on a mission trip, they need to be on either the cook or set-up team and everyone helps clean up. The cook team is from 7:00-10:30 am and the set-up team is from 7:30-10:30 am. Since this is for the community, students can also use it for service hours.
If your student sold flowers in February, they will be in and ready for pick up Saturday, April 11, 10:00 AM- 2:00 PM and Sunday, April 12, 9:00 AM- 1:00 PM. All students who sold flowers need to work a shift for flower pick-up to help bring flowers to people's cars.
If your student is needing extra money for mission trip opt-out fees or registration cost, they can work the envelope fundraiser table. I'll give students $20 per shift they work.
If you have any questions, please contact Kaitlyn.
