What do the rhythms of our faith actually do in our lives? In this four-week series, *If Grace Is Free…*, we’ll take a closer look at some of the most familiar practices of the church—worship, baptism, communion, and service—and explore why they still matter. Rooted in the promise of John 1:16 that we have all received “grace upon grace,” this series invites us to rediscover how these practices shape us, connect us, and draw us deeper into life with God and one another. Whether you’ve practiced them for years or are encountering them in a new way, come explore how these sacred rhythms continue to form our faith and guide our lives as we wrap up the series. | You can join us every Sunday at | | |

Convert Your Check Writing to Online Giving and Relax for the Summer!
As summer schedules change and many of us travel, one of the easiest ways to stay consistent with our generosity is to set up recurring giving. We can still support our ministries in a meaningful way even when we’re traveling this summer. Here’s how to set it up…
All you have to do is point your phone at the QR code shown below and click on the link that pops up. If you don’t like using QR codes, just go to our website, SBUMC.org, click on the Give button at the top right of the screen, and then click on the Online Giving link at the bottom of the page. Both methods will take you to the St. Barnabas UMC Giving page where you can make both Recurring and One-time donations.
To setup your monthly Estimate of Giving payment, select “Tithe/Offering” for the Fund box and enter the amount you plan to donate in the Amount box. In the boxes below you can specify how often your donation should be made (lots of options but monthly and quarterly are used most often), how many times you want to make donations of the amount specified (if you leave this blank, we’ll process them until the end of the year and then check with you for the future), and when you want the recurring donations to start. Below those boxes you can enter the information on how to process your donation: credit card, debit card or bank account. Once you’ve added the payment information, click on the Submit button at the bottom of the page to process and you’re done!
The whole process will take less time than it takes to write a paper check. And once you’ve completed the online process, you don’t have to worry about remembering to do it in the future. If you want to make change, whether it’s to increase your online donation, decrease it, or cancel it entirely, all you have to do is talk to Judy in the church office and she’ll take care of it for you.
No matter how you give, thank you for supporting the ministry efforts of our church!

VBS
July 27-30 | 9:00am-12:00pm
Snowball Mountain Challenge invites kids to an exciting winter sports event where they become Challengers, gearing up for frosty games, snowy surprises, and hands-on lessons about resilience and faith. They will come to realize that with the strength God provides, they can share their gifts, be brave, give their all, pray, and hope.
Your kids will be guided daily by the energetic Activities Director and the lovable Ollie the Arctic Seal puppet, who is reporting on the events. Challengers aren’t just playing games. Using their Challenge Companion (the Bible), they learn to draw strength from their faith through powerful stories, while connecting the learnings to Bible Stories and Lift Lessons (Key Learnings).
With a unique winter theme and solid theology at its core, Snowball Mountain Challenge VBS delivers joy and meaning in equal measure, teaching kids that “I can do all things through him who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13, NRSV).

Summer Events
Our Servant and Leadership Team (SALT) has worked hard to make sure the summer is filled with great events that the youth will enjoy doing. We will have something almost every Sunday and Tuesday in June and July. This summer, we're starting a new Bible study series called drive-in devotionals, where we'll meet at the Sonic on Little Rd. twice a month, grab a drink, so a little devotional, and hang out together. This was something SALT spearheaded all on their own, and I'm very excited to get going. Signups will be coming in the next week or so.
