SERMON SERIES

This Lent, join us for the sermon series, This Is Love, inspired by Adam Hamilton’s book Why Did Jesus Have to Die? Together we’ll explore one of the biggest questions of our faith: Why the cross?

Throughout the season, we’ll look at how Jesus’ death reveals the depth of God’s love—bringing forgiveness, grace, and hope to our lives today. Lent is a time to reflect, grow, and draw closer to Christ.

Come discover again the powerful truth at the heart of our faith: This is love.

You can join us every Sunday at

Mission Trip 2026

This year we're going to Stillwater, OK June 14-20. Make sure to put the dates on your calendar. Every year, the church hosts a pancake breakfast and egg hunt for the community. The student going on the mission trip cooks breakfast and sets up the FLC with tables, then after breakfast, it's the fastest egg hunt around. If your student is going on a mission trip, they need to be on either the cook or set-up team and everyone helps clean up. The cook team is from 7:00-10:30 am and the set-up team is from 7:30-10:30 am. Since this is for the community, students can also use it for service hours.

If your student sold flowers in February, they will be in and ready for pick up Saturday, April 11, 10:00 AM- 2:00 PM and Sunday, April 12, 9:00 AM- 1:00 PM. All students who sold flowers need to work a shift for flower pick-up to help bring flowers to people's cars.

If your student is needing extra money for mission trip opt-out fees or registration cost, they can work the envelope fundraiser table. I'll give students $20 per shift they work.

If you have any questions, please contact Kaitlyn.
