About This Event
Just as CPR helps you assist an individual having a heart attack, Mental Health First Aid helps you assist someone experiencing a mental health or substance use-related crisis. You will learn risk factors and warning signs for mental health and addiction concerns, strategies for how to help someone in both crisis and non-crisis situations, and where to turn for help.

After months of planning, the Artisan Shop finally opened for business along with the grand opening of Logan Street Market on October 3. The shop currently features products from six different artisans from around the world.

Based on a cooperative model of shared retail space and staffing hours, the goal of the shop is to give artisan micro-entrepreneurs the space and experience to develop their retail products and knowledge.

Cynthia Brown, Director of JFCS’s Navigate Enterprise Center, says: “The market has been an ideal space to launch a program helping underserved entrepreneurs gain entry into a highly competitive retail market.” The shop is looking forward to the upcoming holiday shopping season.
