St. Simons Sacred Music Festival
We’re excited to share that the Isle of Hope Choir will be participating in the St. Simons Sacred Music Festival January 30–31 at St. Simons UMC. This year’s clinician is acclaimed composer Howard Helvey, whose music we’ll also be singing here at Isle of Hope this spring. Our choir has been part of this festival for several years, and it is always a meaningful and inspiring experience. We’re grateful for the opportunity to learn, worship, and make music alongside choirs from across the region.

One & Done Choir - February 1st!
One and Done Choir is a joyful, low-commitment way to build community through song. On selected Sundays, congregants of all ages and musical backgrounds are invited to gather at 8:30am to learn a simple, fun anthem together—and then share that music in worship the very same morning.
No long-term rehearsals or experience required—just a willingness to show up, sing alongside others, and be part of something meaningful. One and Done Choir creates space for connection, laughter, and shared purpose, reminding us that community can be formed quickly when voices come together in harmony.

Carry Me Home: 175 Years of Gospel Songs
Sunday, February 22 at 4:00 p.m.
In celebration of our church’s 175th anniversary this year, we invite you to an evening of music that traces the living faith of our congregation across generations. “Carry Me Home: 175 Years of Gospel Song” explores the music that would have shaped worship in south Georgia from the early 19th century through the early decades of the 20th century, reflecting the joys and the trials of our shared history.
As the evening progresses, the music moves forward in time, embracing the warmth and assurance of late 19th century gospel hymns and early Southern gospel songs--music that carried faith into a new century while remaining rooted in the past. Featuring the Isle of Hope Men’s Chorus, reed organ, and violin, this program is not so much a concert, but a musical remembrance--an offering of gratitude for the generations who have worshiped, suffered, rejoiced, and believed within our walls.
We invite you to join us as we celebrate 175 years of faith remembered, faith sung, and faith still alive!

WEDNESDAY NIGHT PRAYER MEETING
Wanted: Prayer partners to join together on Wednesday nights in the Prayer Room in the Tabby House at 5:30 for corporate prayer. As Paul reminds us, we are to “always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people," Ephesians 6:18. We will lift up prayer requests and answers to prayer, in addition to praising God, giving Him thanks, lifting up our church, pastors, staff, committees, and activities, and asking for wisdom and guidance that we may be better servants and witnesses.
You may come and go as your time permits. Your prayers may be silent or spoken. If you are uncertain as to how you should pray, ask the Holy Spirit to intercede for you (Romans 8:26-27). We have Christ’s promise that when we gather together in His name, He will be with us (Matthew 18:20). Please consider joining us.
Prayer Requests and Prayers Answered: During each Sunday service, names are lifted up to our Lord for healing, strength, peace, comfort, wisdom, and other needs. If you would appreciate these people being lifted up in prayer during our prayer meetings, please fill out a Prayer Request/ Prayers Answered Card, which can be found in the Sanctuary pews and on the side slots of the Offering Boxes in the Ministry Center. The cards may be placed in an offering plate, an offering box, or turned into the church office. All prayer requests and praises are confidential.
