Planning for 2025
If you have not had a chance to submit your 2025 Estimate of Giving, you can get a card from the office or in worship on Sunday, or you can go online to submit your giving estimate by clicking HERE.
Why complete an Estimate of Giving card? Just like in your houehold, we estimate our expenses for next year (the missions and ministries of IOHUMC), and we need you to help us know our revenue. All responses are confidentially processed by the Church Administrator.

Retirement Brunch for Nancy
This Sunday, December 8th, we will celebrate Nancy Vogelsang's 30 years of service to our church as Assistant Director of Music Ministries. Nancy is retiring, and December 22nd will be her last day in her official capacity.
If weather permits, Sunday's celebration will take place on the church lawn following both 9:15 a.m. services. If the weather does not cooperate, we will bring the party into the main hallway.
This is your chance to thank Nancy for her years of incredible, selfless, enthusiastic, professional, and talented service. We also encourage you to bring a written note or card to add to a "basket of blessings." If you want to make a love offering to Nancy through a check to the church, simply write "retirement gift" on the memo line.
If you are one of the many who signed up to bring food for the reception, please bring your dish to the church kitchen plated, covered, and ready to set out quickly following the services. If you wish to participate, please bring your best brunchy food! Text any questions to Martha Nesbit at 912-655-5300.

A Note from Rev. Meg Procopio
Beloved Church Staff and Family,
Words are inadequate to express my gratitude for the way you have loved me back to health. Your cards, texts, calls, meals, and prayers have been a source of strength and encouragement! Your care Is a constant reminder of God’s grace and the power of community.
I love you,
Meg

Sanctuary Roof Update
Work began last week on the new roof and will continue until completion. The Sanctuary lot will be reserved solely for roofing purposes on weekdays, and the side door by the Sanctuary should not be used while the crew is working. Metalcrafts will leave some equipment in the Sanctuary parking lot until the job is finished, but the majority of the lot will be cleared each week for Sunday services.
The transept ceiling will require repair, and some interior painting will be necessary. We will provide more information once the scope of work is decided and repairs have been scheduled. Barring any copper supply or installation issues, our Trustees estimate completion of the roof before Christmas.

Wesley Community Center Angel Tree Update
We are thrilled to share that one of the trees is already completely empty—what an incredible testament to the generosity of our church family! Thank you so much for your overwhelming support!
Each ornament is numbered and lists the first name, age, and gift wish for a child. If you haven’t yet, we invite you to select an ornament, add your name next to the corresponding number on the “wish list” beside the tree, and return the gifts under the tree by December 15.
We will deliver all the gifts to Wesley on December 16, and we ask that you also keep your chosen child in prayer. If you have any questions, please reach out to Julie Vann at jvann@iohumc.com. Thank you for making this season brighter for these families!
