Flower Guild Requests Mugs

Please donate your extra standard sized (11 oz.) coffee mugs to the Sacristy room on the Music hallway.

We no longer need vases. Thank you so much for your support!

Introducing the SonRise Casserole Crew!

We’re excited to launch a new ministry led by Boo Padgett and Jenny DeVan to support the ongoing work of SonRise Servers, a group of volunteers who meet downtown on the 1st, 2nd, and 5th Saturdays of each month to serve breakfast to our unhoused neighbors in Savannah.

To support this ministry, a small team will now meet monthly on the first Thursday at 2PM in the main kitchen to prepare breakfast casseroles for the month ahead.  This is a simple yet meaningful way to serve behind the scenes and help provide warm meals with care and consistency. The team is looking for 4–5 volunteers each month to help cook and prepare casseroles.

Guatemala Mission Trip Interest Update

We’re continuing to prayerfully prepare for our upcoming Guatemala mission trip, and we’d love to hear from anyone who is still interested in being part of the team.

If you’ve been considering the trip, please give us an update by TOMORROW — whether you feel ready to commit, are still praying through the decision, or simply need a little more time. This will help us begin planning lodging and transportation needs.

If you are interested, please contact Sara Fullerton at sfullerton@iohumc.com for additional details and next steps.

During the month of July, all adult Sunday School classes will meet together in the Ministry Center for our Adult Education Series focused on cultivating community.

Faith, Freedom, & Community: A Service of Worship for Our Nation's 250th Year

July 5 at 9:15 am | Sanctuary

Join us as we gather in worship to give thanks for the gift of freedom and to reflect on our calling as people of faith within the life of our nation. Through scripture, prayer, and music—including offerings from our choir—we will explore the ways God forms us into a community rooted in grace, committed to justice, and united in hope.

This service offers a meaningful opportunity to honor our shared life as citizens, while remembering the deeper foundation of our life together in Christ.
