New Sunday Schedule!
Mark your calendars for Sunday, October 9th, as we kick-off a new and expanded Sunday morning schedule.
Early Worship (Traditional) at 8:55 am
Anchor Worship (Modern) at 9:15 am
Sunday School at 10:15 am
Late Worship (Traditional) at 11:30 am
Adding a later Sunday worship service opens up options for many in our community and in our church family, and it will also allow Pastor Scott to be the regular preacher in all three worship services. Take this opportunity to invite a friend to join you in worship at Isle of Hope United Methodist Church, where we continue to grow disciples of Jesus Christ.

Meetings with the Bishop
Join United Methodist Bishop David Graves this September as he travels across the South Georgia Conference to meet with local church lay members in various settings to provide his perspective around current denominational matters. “I look forward to visiting, talking with, and listening to laity from each district as we seek to bring clarity around where we are as a denomination and a conference,” said Bishop Graves. “I hope you will make plans now to be a part of a gathering near you.” Bishop Graves will be in our Coastal District at Richmond Hill UMC on Sunday, September 25, from 4-6 pm.

GriefShare
If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. It may be hard for you to feel optimistic about the future right now. This time can be confusing, when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced. GriefShare groups meet weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life. Our next 13-week group will begin on October 4th at 6:30pm in the Cornus Cottage. Register below.

God Squad Kick-Off!
God Squad is Isle of Hope United Methodist Church’s special ministry for 5th graders. We are so excited to go on this year-long journey with you as you transition from the end of our Children's Program to the beginning of our Student Ministry. We will kick-off our year together on Sunday, October 2nd, at 5pm in the Ministry Center. Dinner will be provided. Drop off/ pickup will be at the front office doors on Holcomb Street. Please register your child using the link below. We will meet most Sundays (excluding holiday weekends) - full schedule to come soon!
We ask that between now and the kick-off, you take some time to put God Squad on your calendar. Your commitment to coming each Sunday not only unites your family with your church, but it also unites this group of future Student Ministry members with one another, as they have fun and learn more about God together. Questions? Please contact Chrissy at [email protected] or (386) 848-0862.

IOHUMC and P.A.C.K.
Together with local organization People of Action Caring for Kids (P.A.C.K.), our church helps provide food bags for students at Isle of Hope School throughout the year! You can be part of this effort by donating individually wrapped fruit snacks, cookies, crackers, popcorn, etc. We will deliver the collected items to P.A.C.K. to place in bags that will go to children at IOH School and others in the community.
Collection boxes are located in the main office hallway and at the Ministry Center entrance. If you would like to make a monetary donation to purchase the supplies, they can be given to the church office. For more information, contact Lisa Lietz or Shannon Baxter.
