Holiday on the Hill Set for December 10

Culver-Stockton College will host its annual Holiday on the Hill celebration Wednesday, Dec. 10, from 5–7 p.m. in the Mabee Center Gymnasium. The event is free and open to the public. Families are invited to enjoy a variety of holiday-themed activities, including cookie decorating, photos with Santa, games facilitated by C-SC students, crafts, and ornament making. Those planning to attend are asked to register in advance to help organizers plan for the number of participating children.

Holiday on the Hill is sponsored by Culver-Stockton College and the Culver-Stockton Teachers Organization and facilitated by C-SC student leaders.

Culver-Stockton College Alumna Appointed CFO

Culver-Stockton College has announced the appointment of Tracie Hark ’98 as Chief Financial Officer. “I was attracted to the CFO opportunity because of my love of Culver-Stockton College,” Hark said. “As an alumna, Culver has always held a special place in my heart. Meeting President Schellenberger and learning more about the position, I felt a sense of coming home.” Hark earned bachelor’s degrees in accounting and business administration from Culver-Stockton and later completed her MBA from William Woods University. She brings more than 25 years of financial and administrative leadership experience to her new role.

Culver-Stockton College is pleased to announce its approval as an official partner institution for the Public Safety Recruitment & Retention Scholarship, a state-supported program designed to provide financial aid to public safety professionals and their eligible dependents pursuing higher education in Missouri. Through this program, approved students will have 100% of their tuition paid, enabling them to pursue eligible degree programs that prepare them to serve Missouri communities in public safety roles. This includes approved associate and bachelor’s degrees aligned with fields such as criminal justice, psychology, biology, chemistry, public relations, homeland security, emergency management, disaster management, and other eligible subjects.

Seventeen Culver-Stockton College athletic programs earned the NAIA Scholar Team Award, which the national office announced as a part of National Awards Day in September. To be considered for the NAIA Scholar-Team award, a team must have a minimum 3.0 grade-point average as defined by the institution. The team grade point average includes all student-athletes on the eligibility certificate
