Concord United Student Ministries
Table Talk
Tonight at Amplified 2.0 on Instagram Live, Emily introduced us to some of her quarantine friends (Carrie and Lisa), while Chris shared a message about trusting in God.

Chris talked about how times are at the least uncertain right now and how we all have fears and anxieties, but even so, it is important that we turn our attention to God.

We heard how so many people throughout the Bible had made their own plans (Moses, Job, several of the Disciples, etc.), but instead were called to trust and lean on God. Our scripture for the night was Proverbs 3:5-6 - " Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."

During this time of self-quarantining and social distancing:

  • How have your plans been challenged and changed over the past week?

  • Why is it important to completely trust in God?

  • What are some ways that we can express our trust in the Lord?

Have a great week and stay safe!

Virtual Confirmation
Sundays at 10am
Confirmation is an especially important part of Concord United Students. Because of this, we don't want church cancelation to hinder our Confirmation Students from finishing their class and being Confirmed.

Beginning this Sunday, March 29, we will have Confirmation Class via Zoom at 10am. Click Here on Sunday morning to access the class.

We will also begin our interviews with our Pastors this Wednesday, leading up to Confirmation Sunday. Each Confirmand and one parent/guardian is required to schedule an interview with one of the pastors, which will also be done through Zoom. Please Click Here to schedule your interview.
