HOW TO MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD
Dear Parents, Friends, and Patriots,

Thank you for your overwhelming support and prayers this past month and for standing with me in the fight for freedom, truth, and transparency in education! It has been miraculous to see the sleeping giant awaken as mothers and fathers, grandmothers and grandfathers, and patriots all across Utah have stood and made their voices heard against the forces of evil that are actively seeking to destroy faith, family, and freedom.

Recognizing the battle is now at our front door, many are asking "what can I do to help?"

There are only two week's left in the legislative session and our legislators need to hear from the good people of Utah. They need the courage that we can give them to do what truth and liberty requires! Starting today, watch your inboxes for important, time-sensitive alerts to act on so that we can better protect our children and preserve our freedoms.

The most important action we can take right now is to email our legislators to tell them how we want them to vote.

This bill is being advocated for by Planned Parenthood to get consent taught in the classroom! Check out the news article here.

This bill pushes the topic of consent into the classroom starting in 7th grade. Consent focuses on how to come to an agreement to engage in sexual activities, which leads to sexual experimentation and exploration. This bill also changes the discussion of sexual assault from how to AVOID sexual assault to "how to address" sexual assault. We need to teach children to refuse sexual acts, not that they have the right to consent to them.

This is the video on Consent put together by Planned Parenthood. This is what this bill is pushing to be taught beginning in 7th grade.

Warning, this video is graphic, but is important to see to understand the scope of this bill. If HB 177 passes, this video becomes "legal" for schools to show students starting in 7th grade.
CALL TO ACTION: Email the members of the House and ask them to VOTE NO on HB177. We should not be teaching children that they can give consent to sexual acts.

Allows 16 & 17 year olds to vote for their local school board members. This is a bad idea as students are not tax payers; it brings possible political controversy into the school; and opens the kids up to political manipulation by those who seek to get their vote. This bill was created by a high school age girl who is part of the student advisory committee that makes recommendations to the board. The majority of the board voted not to support this bill. Those advocating for the bill argue it will help get kids civically engaged and improve low voter turn out. There are better ways to get students to become engaged before they are of voting age like volunteering to help a political candidate or running for student government positions in their school.
Call to Action: Contact the house representatives and tell them to VOTE NO ON HB 338 Tell them 16 & 17 year olds should not be voting for elected officials.

This would legislate covid-19 testing for schools to remain open.
WE DON'T NEED TESTING ENSHRINED INTO STATUTE, nor do we want testing to become a part of normal life in schools.
Call to Action: Email all senators and ask them to VOTE NO ON SB 107 4th Sub. WE DO NOT WANT TEST TO STAY LEGISLATED IN OUR SCHOOLS

This bill makes all the lockdowns, closures and mandates that have been happening for a year, legal. There is no part that returns stolen power back to the people, or reins in the out-of-control health departments. Even further, it does not define what a long-term "emergency" is.

We appreciate the legislature proposing a bill to reassert its lawful legislative powers in the case of an emergency, and checking the powers of the executive branch and unelected agencies, but the bill in its present form does not accomplish that goal.

Please contact each of the Senators and thank them for proposing a bill to reassert the proper role of the legislature, but ask them to address these concerns prior to considering this bill. Feel free to copy and paste:

"We have the following recommendations:

Add a metric for what constitutes an "emergency." The definition must include both disease fatality and overall fatality, averaged over 5 years, as the benchmark.

Remove all references to "order of constraint," including "stay at home orders." "Orders of Constraint" is a new category. There is already an "Order of Restriction" in the code (26-6b-3).

Remove the terms "exigent circumstances" and "long-term emergency." Either there is an emergency, or there is not. Use of these terms creates confusion. "Long-term emergency" is an oxymoron.

Remove the "unique risk" clauses. While we appreciate the intent behind the religious freedom sections, "unique risk" is left undefined and negates any possible benefits."

Call to Action: Email the Senators and ask them to VOTE NO ON SB 195 EMERGENCY POWERS. Tell them you want power restored to the people and ask them to address our concerns before passing this bill.

This bill protects minors from being medically or surgically transitioned. This bill is critical to protecting kids from irreversible damage, physically and emotionally. It leaves their bodies mutilated and sterile, destroying their ability to have families of their own someday. Minors are not allowed to drink, smoke, or consent to sex, and they are certainly not in a position to consent to cut off healthy body parts and start life long, irreversible, medical treatments. Turning these minors into patients for life means a lot of money to the providers. We need to put pressure on legislators to get this bill out of the rules committee and on to the House and Senate before we run out of time.
Call to Action: Email all Senate and ask them to vote HB 92 out of rules and onto the Senate Floor for a vote.

HB38 SCHOOL TECHNOLOGY - VOTE YES
Holds schools and library database companies (EBSCO, GALE, etc) accountable for allowing pornographic content of any kind into the databases where kids do research and homework assignments. This includes ads, images, text, or links to other inappropriate adult websites. Web filters do not function in databases. The content contained in databases is put there intentionally by the database company. Nothing gets in accidentally. When pitching their products to schools, the database companies sell it as "safe" for kids. That is why schools use them. Schools pay a LOT of taxpayer money for use of these databases to keep kids safe from dangerous web searches...but these databases have been found teaming up with graphic porn images, articles, and ads...even links to pedophilia sites. Not only do the databases make money off of the schools, but they also make money off of adult magazines that advertise their content on the databases. There is a letter from the database companies to these adult content publishers promising their ads will reach their target customers, which happen to be YOUR children. This is a child exploitation at its finest with the database companies getting money on both ends.
This bill stops that!
