Wally and Karen Mueller
Wally and Karen Mueller moved to Ohio Living Breckenridge Village 11 years ago and enjoy the safety and security of living in a life plan community. They appreciate the Veale Wellness & Aquatics Center that offers a heated pool as well as fitness equipment and exercise classes. They have grown very fond of their fellow residence as well as the staff members that are able to meet all their needs each day.
Wally earned his first degree in Genealogy from Ohio University and then went on to earn a master’s degree in Astronomy and Meteorology from Cornell University. He worked at Valic as a financial advisor and prepared taxes through AARP. Karen also earned a master’s degree; her degree is from Kent State University in Gifted Education. Karen was a teacher in the Mentor and Mayfield School systems, she created and directed the Gifted Education Program.
Wally enjoyed playing golf and Karen enjoys playing bridge. Together they love bird watching and being in nature, and Breckenridge Village offers a wonderful campus to explore all of nature. They also enjoy going to the Chagrin River Metro Parks. Karen and Wally have been married for 60 years and raised two children. They now have five grandchildren.
