Mission Links Highlight - Global Mission Secondary School & Young Seon (Christina) Kim

IMG_8660.JPG

Young Seon (Christina) Kim (#3021957) serves as director of the Next Generation Ministries of the church in Tanzania, based in Dar es Salaam. She shared the following update on the Global Mission Secondary School:

IMG_8664.JPG

"Global Mission Secondary School has been making amazing history since it was miraculously opened on Jan. 18, 2021. Now we have 68 students and 15 staff working together to fulfill God-given vision and mission. I envision GMSS will become academically strong; financially sustainable; and institutionally influential for Christ and His Kingdom. I give thanks to God and all mission partners in Korea and the USA, especially I would like to thank the churches in the Northern Illinois Annual Conference that participated in the 2020 Bishop's Appeal in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. Their offerings made a significant contribution to school construction and also a great reminder of God’s faithfulness. GMSS is still under construction, having financial challenges. But I remember Ebnezer God. I praise God who gave me the starting grace will provide the finishing grace. Please keep on praying for us. Come and visit us."

Churches can donate to the Global Mission Secondary School and Young Seon Kim by noting the advance number #3021957 on your Apportionment payment online or by mail.
