From your editor...

This issue of Lyon Links is a bit sparse on chapter news, but that’s okay because it’s also late. Travel schedules this fall have been/will be hectic both for me and for our intrepid production crew (i.e. Craig Altschul and Peggi Simmons).

I will be out of town through the Labor Day Weekend, and Craig and Peggi will be hosting the YMCA Alumni Travel Club’s Viking Ocean Cruise. So, between us and God willing, you will get this information in time to join us Lyon folks for our two great upcoming events.

Bob Warnock,

Editor, Lyon Links

Mark your calendars...

Waves 3 and 4 of the National Service Project were filled with hard work, great fellowship, education and inspiration. We have been working on the cement foundations for all four tiny homes and significantly organizing, cleaning, and improving the YMCA of the Seven Council Fires program facilities.

Members head out to sea on Viking cruise

Four members of the Lyon Chapter – John and Susan Green and Phyllis and Jim Murphy – along with four from our neighboring Grand Canyon Chapter – Craig Altschul and Peggi Simmons and Marian and Dave Bolton head out to sea in late Sept. on the thrice-postponed (COVID) YMCA Alumni Travel Club Viking Ocean Cruise, Trade Routes of the Middle Ages.
