As summer wraps up, we’re excited to welcome students back to ECF Kayne Eras School! Thanks to your generous support, we’re able to provide individualized learning, enrichment programs, therapy, transportation, and more—helping our students succeed and dream big for the future.

Artists Shine at ECF Art Centers VIP Art Preview

ECF thanks everyone who came out for an unforgettable evening at the ECF Art Centers VIP Art Preview!

We welcomed more than 200 guests—art lovers, new and longtime ECF supporters, artists and their families at the ECF Art Center Westside on July 26 for a stunning showcase of creativity and curated art from all four progressive ECF Art Center studios across Los Angeles.

The fashion show was a vibrant highlight, with wearable art modeled on the runway by the artists themselves. It was a very special and celebratory evening that provided artists with a space and opportunity to personally connect with collectors and speak about their work. As guests departed with their prized purchases of art, the smiles of pride on the artists’ faces said it all. It was exceptional!

Celebrating Disability Pride Month

Exceptional Works participants celebrated Disability Pride throughout July, with fun activities and important conversations. Motivation Monday kicked off each week with participants wearing whatever makes them feel strong, proud and confident. On Shine Bright Wednesdays participants wore sparkles, shiny things or bright colors. Thursdays each week, participants wore a color represented in the Disability Pride flag—red, honoring physical disabilities; yellow, honoring neurodiversity; green, honoring mental health; blue, honoring invisible disabilities; and black, honoring people with disabilities who have passed away.

ECF’s WASC-accredited nonpublic Kayne Eras School provides special education for K-12 students who have learning, emotional and developmental challenges. All our educators are committed to the idea that every child can learn—and with individualized support and care, we help each child develop their confidence and unique potential so they can succeed both in and out of the classroom.
