It's A Perfect Time To Connect
We encourage alumni to touch base with fellow Y retirees. Covid-19 and all our social distancing have held us back in so many gathering events of family and friends.

Why not reach out to alumni with some personal contact.  A written note, an e-mail or a phone call of a simple “Hi- how are you doing?" will make a retirees' day great. Do it sometime before all the holidays, please.

This reminds me of something to pray about:

A southern Baptist minister was completing a temperance sermon. With great emphasis he said, “If I had all the beer in the world, I’d take it and pour it into the river.”

With even greater emphasis he said,  “And if I had all the wine in the world, I’d take it and pour it into the river.”

And then finally, shaking his fist in the air, he said, “And if I had all the whiskey in the world, I’d take it and pour it into the river.”

Sermon complete, he sat down. The song leader stood very cautiously and announced with a smile, nearly laughing. “For our closing song, let us sing Hymn #365.“Shall We Gather at the River.”

SMILE. Life is too short not to. If this brightened your day, don’t let it stop here.
Pass it on with a smile, Keep spreading the cheer.  --Dan

Support The Sioux YMCA
The Sioux Y in Dupree, SD is almost entirely dependent on donations and grants for its operating funds.  Native American youth are among the most vulnerable, at-risk and underserved population in our country, which is why it is so important for the work of the Sioux Y to continue.

The Y has a goal of raising $150,000 this year to help them get through the rest of 2020 and the start of 2021. Hoosier Buell alumni  are encouraged to consider your support for our Native American Sioux Y family.
