NW Cornelius Pass Road to close for large transports
Portions of NW Cornelius Pass Road north of West Union Road will be closed intermittently from 10 p.m.-5 a.m. June 26-27, June 27-28, July 10-11 and July 11-12 to allow four oversized industrial loads to travel from Longview, WA, to Intel’s Hillsboro Campus.

In Washington County, Cornelius Pass Road will close between NW Kaiser Road and NW West Union Road. While the rest of the transport route into Hillsboro will remain open, traffic may be delayed. Travelers are encouraged to use alternate routes.

Public transit survey
Comment on potential for public transit service in South Beaverton, Cooper Mountain and Aloha area in the Community Survey.

The survey is a partnership between Washington County, the cities of Beaverton and Tigard, and Ride Connection, Inc. Comment through July 17.
Save the date: July 9 Get Moving 2020 Listening Session
A virtual listening session on the proposed Get Moving 2020 regional transportation funding measure is scheduled for Washington County at 5:30 p.m. July 9.

Metro Council members are hosting listening sessions to hear from the community before they decide to put the proposed measure on the November ballot. Additional listening sessions are scheduled in Clackamas County, East Multnomah County and Multnomah County/Portland.

Listening sessions will be accessible by phone and video conference, and interpretation will be available. The agenda, log-in information and sign-up instructions to provide comments will be available here.

The Get Moving 2020 package calls for comprehensive improvements to address traffic and safety on 16 of the Portland area’s most dangerous and congested corridors. It creates dedicated funding for programs to make ongoing investments across the region.  More information
PROPOSED LAND USE ORDINANCES
Comment on the proposed Ordinance No. 864: Breweries and Cideries. The second public hearing is 10 a.m. July 21 before the Washington County Board of Commissioners.
