Dream Court, Ribbon Cutting Ceremony.
Last Sunday we celebrated our newly renovated Schottenstein Family Gymnasium with a beautiful ribbon-cutting event.
The Dream Court campaign, led by Board Vice-Chair Adam Bergman,
raised over $250,000 to support a much-needed renovation which includes a new state-of-the-art floor and a 90ft. long BALLIN’ mural created by Miami artist TYPOE. The project was made possible by a lead donation from the Bergman Family, as well as major gifts from Tina and Joe Wolf whose son Danny Wolf recently signed to play for the Brooklyn Nets, Diana Ulis and Alex Kleyner, Moj and Robert Daniel, Michelle and Matan Ben-Aviv and many others who stepped up to support this project.
“Our kids deserve the very best community space to play, learn and thrive in Miami Beach and we are committed to continue investing in our JCC for this amazing community,” says Michelle Ben-Aviv, MBJCC Board Chair.
The Miami Beach JCC serves 1,200 children through its athletics program each year. Our renovated gym made possible by the community will be enjoyed for many years by our talented athletes.
