MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT AND CEO
Welcome to the March issue of ECF Impact!
We had such a great time at the 3rd Annual ECF Golf Benefit this month at Oakmont Country Club and are so grateful for your participation and sponsorships that help us to provide life-changing programs and services for our clients of all ages with special needs. Check out photos of the fun in his issue, and I invite you to read on and learn more about the activities across our 14 program sites in Los Angeles, and ways that you can get involved and join our network of friends and family to support individuals with special needs and the families who love them. Our impact on nearly 4,000 individuals in our community each year is fueled by your compassion and commitment to our mission—providing the highest-level programs and services to empower people with special needs to live to their fullest potential.
That is the difference you make, and our commitment for more than 79 years to the community we serve.
With warmest gratitude,

March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month!
March is National Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, and we’re spotlighting ECF Art Centers’ artists and artwork, kicking off this month with a piece by Gary Kolster. Gary joined the Whittier studio in 2023. “I like it here, I really do,” says Gary. “Here, I’m trying new things…it feels like a move up, like a boost. I really want to keep my art going. Going to big, big canvases!”

By checking emails more promptly, staying focused, and collaborating with his supervisor to review daily task lists, Joseph has improved his productivity. His supervisor, Monica Sweeney, has expressed her satisfaction with his performance, noting his dedication and growth. Keep up the great work, Joseph! | | |
