Here's your November Networking Newsletter
Greetings!
2013 is the 15th year of the Networking Newsletter!
Thank you for sending information on your events so the Networking Newsletter can help us plan our busy lives. This wonderful information source is my "gift" to YOU. It's just one piece of a lifelong mission to help women be more successful in business. When women are financially successful, they have better choices!
Jill Lublin, truly the Queen of PR, sent this timely reminder: "Hope your last quarter is going well. As we enter the final 3 months of the year, it is important to think about your story. For November - remember gratitude, how do you fit that in to your message. For December, think about reaching goals, and setting new ones for the coming new year. Position your story to fit into the months of the year, and always remember to think three, six and nine months ahead to get ready for 2014." If you'd like to read her excellent newsletter, just click here.
2013 has been a year of adjustment and change, but you can bet that 2014 will be similar! After all, that's LIFE! |

Help For/From Our Friends
Mike Pierce wants you to know about a special fundraiser for a local family:
Collins, son of Mary Buchholz and Craig Ferris, was an outstanding basketball player for Rocky Mountain High School 12 years ago or so and an amazing young man.
Over a year and a half ago, Collins was diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia. In September of 2012 he received a bone marrow transplant from one of his sisters who was a perfect match. The procedure went well as did his recovery. Collins played in the Ptarmigan Member/Guest golf tournament this past summer with his brother-in-law Luke Schilling. The day after the "best tournament ever", Collins was back in the hospital. The cancer had returned with a vengeance. He is fighting for his life and two weeks ago underwent a embryonic stem cell procedure. To help with their skyrocketing medical bills, on Sunday November 3rd, Rocky Mountain High School will be hosting the Jocks and Docs Basketball Classic. The doors open at 2pm with a 3pm tipoff. There will also be a silent auction and food served on a cash donation basis after the game. Here is the link to register for the game and additional information. http://www.thefamilybase.com/benefitcollins_emailinvite.html

Most of you know I have been volunteering for five years now at The SAVA Center. This year the staff at SAVA are working hard to buy the building that they currently rent. As you can imagine, this investment will go along way to making the non-violence mission of SAVA a permanent statement. Thanks for considering a donation - especially those of you not here in Ft. Collins. I feel so strongly about it I am asking everyone I know. Let me know if I can share any additional information with you.
