Dear Alexander,

Today is the first day of the 119th Congress! I was proudly sworn in this afternoon to represent the people of Florida's Ninth Congressional District. This term, Team Soto will continue working to deliver federal funding for jobs, transportation, healthcare, veterans, housing, and more!

We're committed to serving everyone in Florida's Ninth Congressional District. We are here to help Central Floridians tackle issues with federal agencies, connect with valuable resources and benefits, and explore new opportunities.

Seniors will now have an annual $2,000 Medicare prescription drug cap due to the Inflation Reduction Act—thanks to President Joe Biden and House Democrats.

Below you will find information on the services we offer to our constituents. This includes help with passport applications, access to VA benefits, Social Security & Medicare assistance, tours of the U.S. Capitol, and much more. You can also visit our website or call 407-452-1171 if you have questions.

Let's keep Central Florida moving forward!

Remembering Governor Buddy MacKay

Florida has lost a dedicated leader, veteran, and diplomat with the passing of Governor Buddy MacKay. We are grateful for his service alongside Lawton Chiles in public health, hurricane relief, and the Everglades. Rest in peace, Governor.

PACT Act Resources for Veterans

Toxic-exposed veterans in Central Florida deserve to access all their rightfully earned benefits without issue.

For more information, visit VA.gov/PACT or call 1-800-698-2411.

There has been an increase in PACT Act-related email, phone, and social media scams targeting veterans by offering to submit claims on their behalf. Click here to learn more.

Emergency Mental Health Care for Veterans

Veterans can receive no-cost emergency mental health care at VA or non-VA healthcare facilities. Veterans can use this benefit whether or not they are enrolled in the VA system. This policy will save lives.

Insulin is Now No More Than $35/Month for Seniors

During the 117th Congress, House Democrats passed the Inflation Reduction Act. Now, millions of seniors no longer have to ration their insulin because they can’t afford it.

I'm proud to be your representative and look forward to our continued efforts to improve our district! Please do not hesitate to call my office with any questions or concerns.
