Fire Extinguisher Inspection Tips
Portable fire extinguishers save millions of dollars of property damage each year. The "Incipient Stage" of a fire is its beginning stage which can be controlled with a portable fire extinguisher. Training on fire extinguishers is crucial to effective use, however, if the fire extinguisher isn't ready for use the point is moot.
Portable fire extinguishers are required to be inspected annually by a licensed technician th
rough a licensed fire protection company. There is also a requirement for "Monthly Inspections" for portable fire extinguishers as well. This inspection is a very basic one that does not require a license.
Please review the attached document outlining monthly inspections of Portable Fire Extinguishers for a step by step procedure to ensure operational readiness.

Throughout the entire year our staff "gives back" in many ways.
Here are just a few of the causes we have supported this year and there are plans to expand our participation even more in 2017.
Multiple Food Drives & Toy Drives. The Big Thank You: an event sponsored by Q100 radio station to get a handwritten letter in the hands of every military service man and woman that is stationed outside of the United States, by Thanksgiving. Blessing Bags: gathering items (shampoo, toothbrushes, Toothpaste, snacks, mittens, blankets, water, etc) and packing bags that will be handed out to the homeless in our community. Many thanks to our special service team and our vendor manager who coordinates most of these efforts for our company. Next year there are plans to participate in additional donation projects and at least one service project in the community each quarter.
We are always proud to support the city of
Atlanta, our troops
and worthy causes! As always, we encourage your family to please join us in finding something that touches your heart this holiday season!
