Fruit and Veggie Carving
Competition
Carver's prepare yourself for Plain City Heritage Day's. This event will have their first Fruit and Vegetable Carving Competition promoted and run by Art The Experience.

Professional Competition
at Heritage Day's

This competition will be open to competitors at any skill level. It is considered a professional event. If you are a student or amateur carver you are still welcome to enter into this category. The judging for this event will be a people's choice vote.
Carvers will create their masterpieces and bring them to the competition site for display. After the carvers register they will have exactly 30 minutes to display their work. It will be timed so be organized and prepared. If you run over on time this will not eliminate you. Refer to competition description on the entry form for further explanation.

Amateur Competition
at Heritage Day's
Carvers will be given one watermelon, one cantaloupe, and one honeydew. Carvers will have three hours to carve their display. Carvers are allowed to bring in any additional fruit, vegetables, or herbs to add to their competition piece (must be edible). There is no limit to how much you can bring in, however it must all fit on your display pedestal that measures 24" x 24". Carvers must use the fruit given to them first and is required to be in their display.
Prizes will consist of donated gifts by the businesses of the Village of Plain City.
This competition will help prepare students to compete at The Collegiate National Championships in Holland, MI. Also known as The Carve.

Collin placed first in the individual mystery basket event and his team won the Collegiate National Championships. The team was Culumbus Culinary Institute.
