Renewal

“There is something infinitely healing in the repeated refrains of nature—the assurance that dawn comes after night, and spring after winter.” — Rachel Carson

Spring is always a time of hope and renewal. We feel it in the air. It is a time for renewal for our club, too.

At our April meeting we will conduct elections for our new Board. Please plan to attend and affirm the continuity of our Club.
Our What I Love video has been updated with the addition of Rosina Chevalier's thoughts.

March Recap
March Meeting: Cats, dogs and even a rooster joined the ladies of the Heritage Group for the March meeting! As we have become accustomed to viewing cats strolling across keyboards and dogs lending a paw assisting with Treasurer reports throughout Zoom meetings, we decided it was time for formal introductions after hearing from our guest speaker, Alese Zemen with Friends For Life Animal Shelter.

Thank-you to Alese (and Richard The Cat) for a fun interactive, informative session and for patiently answering all our questions in addition to sharing the amazing variety of volunteer opportunities available at the shelter. We were especially amused to learn about the Sassy and Strong-willed females training program as many of the members shared that their pets had similar personalities.

Thank-you to all who brought pets, photos, and artwork of their furry family members to this engaging meeting that left everyone smiling.
