Heritage Hills vs Pike Central
The Heritage Hills Patriots will travel to Pike Central this Friday night for a 7:00pm CST kickoff.
With a great 2-0 start, the Patriots are looking to continue their win streak and need you to make the trip to support them. We hope to fill the stands on Friday night!
History of the Matchup
This will be the 43rd meeting between Heritage Hills and Pike Central. They first met in 1974 and the Patriots won the first meeting 22-7. The Patriots lead the series against the Chargers 41-1 and lead Petersburg who consolidated into Pike Central 2-0.

In 1986 Pike Central traveled to Heritage Hills in the final game of the regular season; the Patriots and Chargers entered that game with identical 6-1 overall records and 6-0 conference records. The Chargers would win that game 21-14 in overtime and win their first and only PAC title which was also an outright title.
By the luck of the draw (or bad luck in Pike Central's case) they would have to return to Lincoln City one week later to play the Patriots again in the first round of the IHSAA 3A playoffs. The 2nd game would be all Patriots as they cruised to a 20-0 win that ended Pike's dream season. |
