Heritage Valley COVID-19 Vaccine Update |

Heritage Valley Health System continues to administer the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines to all adults, ages 16* and up. For further information on the Pfizer vaccine, please click here.
Those interested in receiving a vaccine are asked to register online at heritagevalley.org or call 724.770.7555 for an appointment.

Heritage Valley Health System has received over 111,370 registrations for the COVID-19 Vaccine. Of those registered, Heritage Valley has administered close to 76,400 doses of the vaccine; 34,340 individuals have received both doses while 42,070 have received their first dose.
If you need to CANCEL a scheduled appointment, please call 724.770.7555 and press Option 1.
Please note: Second dose appointments are 21 days after the first dose appointments and remain scheduled as planned. Vaccine cards are printed for recipients at the second dose appointment.

COVID-19 Vaccine Available at ConvenientCare Beginning May 11
As we experience a decline in the demand for COVID-19 vaccines, Heritage Valley Health System will begin transitioning the administration of first and second vaccine doses by appointment only to the Robinson Township and Center Township ConvenientCare locations beginning May 11, 2021. Watch for a special edition of E-Connections next week outlining the hours and details!

*Unemancipated minors who are 16 or 17 years old may only receive the COVID vaccine with the consent of a parent or guardian. However, parental consent may be waived if the minor can provide proof 1) of high school graduation, OR 2) of a prior or current marriage, OR 3) that the minor has been or is pregnant. |

The community clinics noted above will be the last dates for first dose vaccine appointments at these locations.
Second dose clinics remain as scheduled through May 24.

COVID-19 Testing
COVID-19 Tests are available at Heritage Valley's seven ConvenientCare locations. Patients can call the nearest ConvenientCare clinic for a telehealth/telephone visit with a provider. Once a telehealth visit is completed and the test ordered, patients will be directed to a ConvenientCare location for testing. Patients will be able to drive up to any of our seven ConvenientCare locations (Aliquippa, Center Twp., Chippewa, Edgeworth, Ellwood City, Robinson Twp., Calcutta, Ohio) and remain in their car while clinical staff come to the car and assist in the collection of the COVID-19 sample.
