Effective Monday, March 9, the Kennedy Township ConvenientCare (located in the Medical Office Building) will have the following hours:

Monday-Friday: 8 am – 5 pm

Saturday & Sunday - Closed

Lab draw hours will remain Monday – Friday from 7 am – 3 pm (closed daily from 12 – 12:30 pm)

Patients needing services outside of these hours are encouraged to go to the Robinson Township Medical Neighborhood, located at 2201 Park Manor Blvd., next to DSW Shoes and PNC Bank.

Observing the transformation in students as they near graduation is one of the most rewarding and inspiring aspects of Kara’s career in the Heritage Valley School of Nursing. As an instructor, Kara has enjoyed both professional growth and wonderful interpersonal connections. She truly enjoys meeting so many awesome students! Kara is grateful that all staff at the School of Nursing function as a team. She states that effective teamwork also depends on committee involvement, and prioritizing student success. Kara is passionate about her role at the School of Nursing, and the program’s contributions to alleviating the continuing nursing shortage.

After careful consideration, the decision has been made to close the Heritage Valley Calcutta Medical Neighborhood, with its last day of operation being Friday, March 20, 2026. Please note that this will affect all services currently offered within the Medical Neighborhood, including ConvenientCare; Lab and Diagnostic Imaging; Mammography; Heart & Vascular Center; and Primary Care Calcutta, the practice of Dr. Marcella Purtell, Dr. Venus Wittenauer, and Nurse Practitioners Kelly Fischer and Katlynn White.

Patients of Primary Care Calcutta (724-773-3404) are encouraged to contact the office before closing for assistance in selecting a new Heritage Valley healthcare provider, transferring medical records, or arranging prescription transfers. Click here to reach the Heritage Valley physician directory.

Heritage Valley Health System has updated its patient billing statements to make them both easier to understand and more convenient to use. In addition to your balance, dates of service, and summary of care provided, the new statements include a direct link to pay online, and a QR code that allows you to access the payment site right from your smartphone.



Your first statement will arrive in the mail. If you provided an email address at registration, future statements will be sent to you electronically. If you prefer to continue receiving paper statements, simply contact our office at 855-757-0424 and we will make note of your preference.
