Beginning on July 29, you will be able to “get in line” to see a ConvenientCare practitioner before you leave home! In addition to seeing how many people are ahead of you, we’ll be adding estimated wait time information. 

To access this feature, download the Heritage Valley app (iHVHS/iPhones or aHVHS/Androids) and click on the “Activity” button. Next, click “Heritage Valley ConvenientCare” and then click on the green “Get in Line” box underneath your location. From there, simply follow the instructions!

You will receive a text confirming your request to be placed in line, along with your estimated wait time. To cancel a request, click “Activity;” “ConvenientCare;” and the red “Cancel Request” button.

Heritage Valley has opened its eighth ConvenientCare location! The Kennedy Township site is located within the Medical Office Building that is connected to the former Heritage Valley Kennedy hospital, and currently offers:



• ConvenientCare Walk-in Clinic: Monday - Saturday from 8 am until 7:30 pm and Sunday from 8 am until 3:30 pm (412-749-7960)
• Lab Draw Services: Monday - Friday from 7 am until 3 pm; closed from 12-12:30 pm daily (412-749-7969)
• Physician Offices

Outpatient Cardiac Rehabilitation is now located in the Robinson Township Medical

Neighborhood Building. Outpatient Surgery has been relocated to the Heritage Valley Ambulatory Surgery Center and Heritage Valley Sewickley hospital.

The Heritage Valley Senior Living Community, Kennedy Township Wound Care Center, Pain Treatment Center, Northwest Ambulance, and School of Nursing are not impacted by the recent closure of Heritage Valley Kennedy hospital and will continue to operate at their current locations.

New residents moving into the Heritage Valley Senior Living Community by September 30, 2025 will receive a $1,000 discount on the first three months of rent. In addition, the $2,500 community fee will be waived. That’s a savings of $5,500!

• This promotion applies to all Heritage Valley Senior Living Communities: Independent Living, Personal Care and Memory Care.

• The discount begins on the first full month that a resident lives in the Community. (For example, if a resident moves in on August 15th, the three months of discounted rent will begin on September 1st.)

By downloading the HVHS app and clicking on the Activity button, you will see real-time patient activity at Heritage Valley’s two emergency departments. This means that you can see exactly how many patients are currently at each location. For instance, if Heritage Valley Beaver shows “busy” with 50 patients and Heritage Valley Sewickley shows “low” with 20 patients, you may want to consider utilizing the Sewickley emergency department. The same skilled board-certified physicians rotate through our emergency departments, so you can be assured of great care wherever you go.
