Covid Vaccine Recommendation

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) is recommending that, as soon as new vaccines are available, everyone ages 6 months and older receive an updated 2024-2025 COVID-19 vaccine to protect against the potentially serious outcomes of COVID-19 this fall and winter. (There is currently no FDA-approved or FDA-authorized COVID-19 vaccine for children younger than age 6 months.) This recommendation is being made regardless of whether or not people have previously received a COVID-19 vaccine. Updated COVID-19 vaccines are expected to be available from Moderna, Novavax and Pfizer later this year.  According to the CDC, there is no preferential recommendation for the use of any one COVID-19 vaccine over another when more than one recommended and age-appropriate vaccine is available.

Tito Francona Memorial Golf Classic

The Heritage Valley Health System Foundation‘s annual Tito Francona Memorial Golf Classic will be held on Monday, August 5, at Olde Stonewall Golf Club in Ellwood City. Proceeds benefit the Tito and Birdie Francona Memorial Endowment Fund, which supports heart and cancer patients at Heritage Valley Beaver. If you would like to golf or sponsor this event, please contact Kim Anastas, Executive Director of the Foundation, at 412-749-7966 or kanastas@hvhs.org.

Baden Payment Location Update

Please note that, effective July 26, 2024, the Physician Billing Office is relocating from 200 Ohio River Blvd. in Baden to 2 Peartree Way in Beaver. The Facility Billing Office will remain at the Baden location. As a result:
