Leads to Additional Vaccination Clinics
|
|
Heritage Valley Health System has administered over 43,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine with more than 15,000 individuals now fully vaccinated (receiving the two required doses). The Health System has received nearly 97,000 registrations for the COVID-19 vaccine.
Heritage Valley Health System has expanded its schedule of COVID-19 vaccination clinics as it received an increased supply of vaccines from the Pennsylvania Department of Health. Clinics are held in Robinson Township, at the former Heritage Valley location next to Staples, as well as the CCBC Dome.
Effective the week of March 29, Heritage Valley will begin sending email invites to individuals in Phase 1A ages 16-64 with certain high-risk conditions who live in the Health System’s service area or have a Heritage Valley physician.
If you are in the category described above but registered by phone and do not have access to a computer or smartphone, please call 724-770-7555 to schedule your vaccine, preferably between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:30 pm, Monday – Friday.
Heritage Valley is committed to getting "shots in arms" and will continue to schedule as many individuals as possible to receive the vaccine. There continues to be an overwhelming interest in receiving the vaccine and the Health System appreciates your patience as it strives to deliver a vaccine to everyone who wishes to receive one.
Upcoming dates for 1st dose vaccine clinics for active scheduling are as follows:
-
CCBC Dome: March 31, April 5, 7, 10, and 20
-
Staples Office Building in Robinson Township: April 5, 7, 9, 13, and 15
Please note: Second dose appointments are 21 days after the first dose appointments and remain scheduled as planned.
