Heritage Valley Health System's E-Connections newsletter is published bi-weekly.

Our next issue will be Friday, April 11.

March 30th is National Doctors’ Day, a time set aside to recognize and honor physicians for the incredible work that they do for their patients and communities. We want to thank the Heritage Valley Health System physicians for their time and commitment, each and every day! We admire their dedication, leadership, and all they do to lead the fight against disease and illness.

Happy Doctors’ Day to all of our physicians. We appreciate you!

Hope Bariatrics Comprehensive

Weight Loss Program

Hope Bariatrics Comprehensive Weight Loss Program, the practice of Dr. Eric Boyle, offers both surgical (Gastric Bypass and Sleeve Gastrectomy) and non-surgical weight loss options. The demand for prescription and over-the-counter weight loss medications has been growing among patients. While beneficial, weight loss drugs can have serious side effects and, unfortunately, as patients stop taking the medication, weight gain can occur. Dr. Boyle will monitor your medical care, ensuring that you are taking medications properly to gain maximum benefit.

Whether you are considering surgery or a weight loss medication, the staff at Hope Bariatrics will provide you with nutrition counseling, fitness regimens and medication monitoring. For insurance companies to pay for weight loss surgery/treatment, there must be a well-documented treatment path ... another reason to be seen by a specialist in the field.

Hope Bariatrics is now located in Heritage Valley Sewickley in Suite 411 (within the practice of HVMG Surgical Associates) on the 4th floor of HVS. Click here for more information on our practice, or call 724-773-6400 for more information.  Obesity is a complex, multifactorial chronic disease that requires ongoing oversight, and Dr. Boyle and his staff would be honored to care for you.
