If you need cardiac care, the physicians of Heritage Valley’s Heart & Vascular Center provide a full range of services, including consultative care, non-invasive diagnostic testing and diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac, thoracic and vascular procedures. We are committed to being a leader in cardiac care and are dedicated to providing high quality services, ranging from disease prevention to testing and surgical intervention.

George Antalis, MD has been part of the Heritage Valley Heart & Vascular Center for more than 20 years. He is board-certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology. Dr. Antalis serves as the Medical Director of the Nuclear Lab at the Leetsdale and Sharon Road office locations. He currently has office hours in the Leetsdale location.

Maninder Bedi, MD joined The Heart and Vascular Center as part of Regional Cardiac Arrhythmia Electrophysiology Group. Dr. Bedi is a board certified Electrophysiologist and graduated from Andhra Medical College, King George Hospital in India. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Western Reserve Care System in Youngstown, Ohio. He fulfilled his Cardiology and Electrophysiology fellowships at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Bedi is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Medical Association, Ohio State Medical Association, Pennsylvania Medical Society, American College of Cardiology, Heart Failure Society of America and the International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation.

Stephen D’Auria, MD, FACC completed his Internal Medicine Residency, Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology Fellowship, and Advanced Interventional Structural Cardiology Fellowship at UPMC. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology. Dr. D’Auria joined the Heritage Valley Health & Vascular Center in 2020. His interests include Transcutaneous Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) and endovascular management of peripheral arterial disease. Dr. D’Auria sees patients at the Beaver and Calcutta, Ohio locations. 

Rina Gandhi, MD, FACC has practiced Cardiology in western Pennsylvania for more than 20 years and joined the Heritage Valley Heart & Vascular Center in 2019. She is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease and holds a board certification in Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Gandhi is currently the Chair of the Department of Medicine at Heritage Valley Kennedy. She has research experience at Harvard Medical School and UPMC, and has published research involving Mitral Valve Prolapse. Dr. Gandhi has office hours at the Heart & Vascular Center locations in Kennedy Township and Leetsdale. 

Emily Guhl, MD, MS, FACC is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine and Cardiology. She holds additional board certifications in Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Guhl earned her medical degree from the University of Chicago and completed her Internal Medicine residency and Cardiology fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where she was the Chief Cardiology Fellow. She also earned a Masters of Epidemiology from the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Guhl has authored numerous publications and was awarded multiple research awards during her training. Dr. Guhl sees patients at the Beaver and Leetsdale Heart and Vascular Center locations. 

Kenneth House, DO, FACC is the Medical Director of the Heritage Valley Heart & Vascular Center. He is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology and holds a board certification in Nuclear Cardiology. In addition to Dr. House’s leadership role, he treats patients at the Heart & Vascular Center locations in Beaver, Leetsdale and Calcutta, Ohio.

Christopher Kolibash, MD joined The Heart and Vascular Center as part of Regional Cardiac Arrhythmia Electrophysiology Group. Dr. Kolibash is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Cardiac Electrophysiology. He is a graduate of West Virginia University School of Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine internship at The Ohio State Medical Center in Columbus, OH and his residency at Allegheny General Hospital. His Cardiovascular Fellowship was completed at The University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Dr. Kolibash fulfilled his Electrophysiology Fellowship at Aurora HealthCare in Milwaukee, WI. He has been practicing Electrophysiology since 2013.

Amit Ladani, MD, FACC is a graduate of Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Illinois Medical Center in Chicago and fulfilled his Cardiology fellowship at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr. Ladani is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Internal Medicine. He is also board certified in Nuclear Cardiology, Echocardiography and Vascular Ultrasound. Dr. Ladani serves as the Director of Non-Invasive Cardiology and Cardiac Rehab at Heritage Valley Kennedy. He has been in practice since 2016 and sees patients in the Kennedy Township office.

Michael Malkowski, MD, FACC is the Director of Echocardiography for Heritage Valley Health System and has more than 25 years of experience in Cardiology. He is board-certified in Cardiovascular Disease and specializes in treating heart failure and valvular heart disease. Dr. Malkowski has authored and co-authored numerous published papers, book chapters and abstracts and has lectured extensively on cardiac-related topics. Dr. Malkowski has been featured in Pittsburgh Magazine as one of the top Cardiologists in Pittsburgh. He currently treats patients at the Heart & Vascular Center’s Beaver and Leetsdale locations. 

Glen Miske, DO joined The Heart and Vascular Center as part of Regional Cardiac Arrhythmia Electrophysiology Group. Dr. Miske is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Cardiac Electrophysiology. He is a graduate of Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine internship at St. Francis Medical Center and his residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. His Cardiology Fellowship was completed at Allegheny General Hospital and his Electrophysiology Fellowship at Lankenau Hospital in Wynnewood, PA. Dr. Miske is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Medical Association, American College of Cardiology, Heart Failure Society of America and the American Heart Association.

Christopher Morgan, DO, FACC is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology and holds board certifications in Echocardiography and Nuclear Medicine. He joined the Heritage Valley Heart & Vascular Center in 2017 and is a participant in the Transcutaneous Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) program and has an interest in endovascular management of peripheral arterial disease. Dr. Morgan currently treats patients at the Heart & Vascular Center’s Beaver and Calcutta, Ohio locations. 

Gauravkumar Patel, MD, FACC joined the Heritage Valley Heart & Vascular Center in 2017. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology and holds board certifications in Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology. His interests include Transcutaneous Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) and endovascular management of peripheral arterial disease. Dr. Patel currently practices at the Heart & Vascular Center’s Beaver and Ellwood City locations.

Jasvinder Sandhu, MD, FACC, RVT, RPVI was born in Nairobi, Kenya and attended medical school at the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, Ireland. He finished his fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at UPMC and became affiliated with Heritage Valley Health System in 1990. He is board-certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology and serves as Director of the Cardiovascular Catheterization Lab at Heritage Valley. His interests include high-risk coronary intervention, Transcutaneous Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), endovascular management of peripheral arterial disease, carotid artery stenting and endovascular management of aortic aneurysms. His primary office location is in Leetsdale/Sewickley. 

S. Jeffrey Yakish, DO joined the Heritage Valley Heart & Vascular Center in 2016 and is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia as well as a Cardiology Fellowship from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in Hershey, PA. Dr. Yakish is the Medical Director of non-invasive Cardiology. He is also the Director of Cardiac Rehab for the Leetsdale and Beaver offices. Dr. Yakish currently sees patients at the Beaver and Calcutta, Ohio Heart & Vascular Center locations.

Fred Jamie Holland, MD received his B.A. from Purdue University and his Medical Doctorate from the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. Dr. Holland completed General Surgery residencies at the Medical College of Ohio and the Albany Medical Center in New York, where he served as Chief Resident. He completed a Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery residency at the University of Miami in Florida. He also completed a Fellowship in Cardiac Surgery at the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute, part of the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland.


Prior to joining the Heritage Valley Multispecialty Group Heart & Vascular Center in 2020, Dr. Holland was Chief and Medical Director of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Mercy Health St. Anne Hospital in Ohio, and was a Cardiothoracic Surgeon at the DCH Regional Medical Center in Alabama.


Dr. Holland is a member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons; American College of Surgeons; American Medical Association; and the Andrew G. Morrow Society of Cardiovascular Surgeons.

Xingyi Que, MD received his M.D. and his M.S. in Cardiac Surgery and Hemodynamic Research from the West China University of Medical Sciences. He has completed multiple residencies, including one in Cardiothoracic Surgery at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. Dr. Que is double Board Certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery and has over 22 years of experience as a Cardiothoracic Surgeon. He is a member of the Society of Thoracic Surgeons and is a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Que is bilingual, and is fluent in both English and Mandarin.

 

Some of Dr. Que’s areas of skill and expertise include off-pump Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) surgery; valvular repair/replacement surgery; aortic aneurysm surgery; minimally invasive cardiac surgery, including Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR); surgical treatment of heart failure and pulmonary failure, such as Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) and Ventricular Assist Device (VAD); lung surgery of benign or malignant disease; and minimally invasive Thoracic Surgery, such as Video-Assisted Thoracoscopic Surgery (VATS).

Richard Redlinger, Jr., MD, RPVI, FSVS is board-certified in General and Vascular Surgery. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery. His clinical practice includes open surgical and endovascular (minimally invasive) treatment of aneurysms, carotid disease, peripheral vascular disease and dialysis access. Dr. Redlinger earned his medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine and subsequently completed his internship and residency in General Surgery and his fellowship in Vascular Surgery at Eastern Virginia Medical School.

Edward Villella, MD, RPVI is board-certified in General Surgery by the American College of Surgeons and completed a Vascular Surgery Fellowship at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Illinois. Additionally, Dr. Villella is a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation (RPVI). He earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia and completed his General Surgery residency at West Penn Allegheny Health System in Pittsburgh. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the Midwestern Vascular Surgical Society, the Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Society and the Society for Vascular Surgery.
