Check Out Our New City Website
The City of Hermosa Beach has officially launched our new enhanced and more accessible website at a new address, hermosabeach.gov. The new site features easier navigation and an updated design.
Election Day is Tues November 5th
The next general municipal election will be held on Tuesday November 5, 2019. Hermosa Beach Voters will have the opportunity to elect two to City Council, A City Clerk and City Treasurer, as well as two ballot initiatives (Measure H and Measure CC).

With Fall in full swing, we have a number of emergency preparedness tips to ensure your home and family are safe during the holidays. Check out our Emergency Preparedness webpage to find info about changing smoke detector batteries as you chance your clocks, as well as Thanksgiving cooking and heater safety tips.
Green Businesses
If you're a local business interested in going green or receiving recognition for your efforts, you can become a Hermosa Beach certified green business. The program is free to participate, and as a business you receive on-site assistance, and local and statewide recognition by participating.  
Hermosa for the Holidays
We hope you'll shop, eat and entertain locally in Hermosa Beach with family and friends this holiday season! To help you stay local and enjoy all of the festive events Hermosa Beach has to offer, the City of Hermosa Beach is offering FREE on-street parking in our commercial areas (at marked meters). This year's holiday parking program will begin Weds, November 27th and last through Weds, December 25th.
Your Sewer Dollars at Work
Sewer Repair Work as part of CIP 416 is expected to begin on Monday November 4, 2019 and continue through November, 22, 2019. Notices have been provided to affected properties and you can  see the map of the sewer improvement work areas
