The UDC Social Work program and Social Work Student Association (SWSA), in collaboration with our community partner HIPS, invite you to join us for an essential Narcan (Naloxone) Training session. In addition to learning life-saving techniques to combat opioid overdoses, you will also learn about addiction, harm reduction approaches, and community resources. Participating in Narcan training equips students with a comprehensive understanding of the opioid crisis and emphasizes the significance of employing harm reduction strategies. In today’s world, being equipped with Narcan knowledge is crucial. Your participation could help save a life on campus or in the community.
This training holds immense value for all participants, and we encourage student involvement to gain insights into the effective utilization of Narcan for reversing overdoses resulting from opioid misuse. Please share this announcement widely with students; this training is not only crucial but also cultivates a sense of accountability and preparedness, empowering us with the knowledge to effect positive change both on campus and within the broader community.
