Please be advised that Hershey is currently experiencing service outages affecting Cocoa items. Recently, Hershey changed sourcing locations to improve the long-term reliability of all Cocoa can items. However, the relocation timeline was aggressive, and as a result, production is currently behind schedule and operating at a reduced rate due to the startup curve. Hershey has added additional resources, including increased production shifts, to expedite recovery.
Partial recovery is expected in May, with full recovery projected for July/August of this year. Hershey is also evaluating the addition of temporary capacity and will continue to provide regular updates on their recovery plans.
