1.White Dove 3-PK: This is a dumpbin we have had in every quarter. Should be placed in Paint Department

2.Contractor 1st 3-PK: This is a dumpbin that should be placed by MST in the Pro Department. If it makes its way down to Paint this is OK.
SAMPLE BAR UPDATE
Action Needed:

SSR's will receive a Sample Bar retro kit for each store in assigned territory. Upon receipt please update the current sample bar.

Project 51 Survey
Lowe’s stores are in the process of improving the customer experience by launching a Project 51 initiative. This initiative involves stores resetting select departments and planograms to gain more aligned adjacency. These product adjacencies will improve ticket attachments and the shopper experience. The initiative has launched nationwide in all stores from August to January. The changes for the Paint Department are minimal, see below.

Paint Department Changes include:

  • Moving Polyethylene (plastic sheeting) from Lumber and Building Materials into the Paint Department. 
  • Moving Paint bays that currently sit in other/adjacent departments, into the Paint department when possible. Note: Spray paint is an exception since it has the sprinkler arms. Spray paint should not move in any store.

The changes in these categories have impacted a small number of stores. In these stores, an incorrect planogram was assigned, affecting product stocking and pricing.

Examples:

  • Brushes and Rollers reduced by 4 FT, but all of Purdy is non stocked. 
  • Interior Stains are reduced by 4 FT, but all of the Poly Floor Coatings are non-stocked. 
If you are experiencing non-stock issues, VOC issues, added Product Lines, discontinued Product lines, or reduced footages in your stores due to the Project 51 initiative, please take the following actions:
  • Review the abnormalities with your RSM
  • Fill out the Survey answering all questions, including pictures

There is no item limit on Fast Track requests.
 
Subject Line for email must include ASAP or Next Truck
This direction from subject line should also match the request in body of the email.
If need by date is submitted please include need by date in subject line and body of email.
 
ASAP REQUESTS
Do not include Customer Service on your initial email to your Director for approval.
Only ASAP requests need approval from Director
The Fast Track email should be included once Director has already approved the email (SSR can forward to Fast Track email or reply all and add Fast Track email)
For ASAPs only; next truck request can be sent straight to the Fast Track email
 
ASAP request: All products in stock at the Prime DSC will be processed on one order. Any remaining items will be placed on a separate order to ship with next truck from the Prime DSC.
A daily scheduled report will run to capture any lines/skus that cancelled off the order due to stock availability.
The reports will be posted on Sharepoint for review.
From this report, sales will advise if the items cancelled off the Fast Track will need to be included on the next Fast Track request or added to the next RE order.
Next Truck request:
All products will ship from Prime DSC even if there is no stock of an item/s at time of processing.
 
If a need by date is submitted: CS will marry this PO to the closet RE order to deliver before or on need by date but if unable to, CS will date PO to hit “Need by Date”.
