Pet Corner

Welcome to the August Pet Corner! This month, meet Kristen Baker’s cat, Winston and Tiffany El-Amin's cat, Kitty! 

Meet Winston! He joined Kristens’ family in December 2019 and enjoys listening to music, playing tag, and taunting birds outside the window. His favorite food is strawberry ice cream. 

Get ready to meet Tiffany's beloved furry companion, Kitty! Despite building restrictions on having "real" animals, Kitty has proven to be the ultimate support pet for her daughter. Ever since becoming a part of their family in February 2023, Kitty has brought immeasurable comfort, joy, and consolation.

Shoutouts to Thaiasia Johnson and Cherisse Buffonge 

From coordinating amazing educational trips this summer for the kids of the Anderson – such as trips to the Museum of Natural History, MOMA, children’s museum, and math museum, and attending the Amazing World of Animals event at the Sedgwick Library – Thaiasia has done an incredible work ensuring all the children at The Anderson can enjoy a fun and educational summer.

Similarly, Cherisse has done an amazing job at cultivating a strong sense of community and increasing tenant participation at The Corden. The Financial Coaching meet-and-greets were very well-attended at both The Jennings and The Corden because of her consistent efforts.
