July 21-August 4

The school year is quickly approaching! We'll be having a preschool drive to benefit Lakewood Preschool! This is just one way that Lakewood is able to support this ministry. Our teachers have compiled a list of wants and needs for the upcoming school year that you can find below! You can also find some items on the apple tree in the back of sanctuary. Your support is much appreciated!

Thank you for your patience as we have been vigorously processing Baby Bottles. It has been a record-breaking year, and we could not do it without you! 

This year, your congregation raised $861.79 through the Baby Bottle Campaign. Thank you so much!

Did you know the Baby Bottle Campaign is FCWS's second largest fundraiser of the year, surpassed only by our Annual Life Banquet? The funds you have raised allow us to continue reaching more families in our community and empowering them to choose LIFE by providing:

• lab-grade pregnancy confirmation tests
• pregnancy confirmation ultrasounds
• options counseling for clients
• parenting education for clients
• material support for clients (diapers, wipes, baby clothes, blankets, cribs, etc.)
• abortion healing assistance for post-abortive women

We are so grateful for your partnership in this fight for LIFE.

August 4

Join us Sunday, August 4th for Youth Sunday! Our youth will be taking over our worship service allowing them to serve and share their gifts with our congregation! You certainly don't want to miss it!

August 8-9

The church office will be closed due to our staff attending the Global Leadership Summit at Beach Church on Thursday, August 8 and Friday, August 9. Thank you for understanding.

August 11

Join us in celebrating all of our kiddos moving up to the next grade with our rising preschoolers and 3rd graders getting bibles and our confirmands to youth! We'll also have a connect lunch following the service.

August 8 • August 15 • August 22

11am-3pm

Led by Nettie Cribb, this will be a great time of fellowship and fun! Bring your lunch and invite a friend! There will be a variety of board games and card games that you don't want to miss! Game on!

If you know of anyone at home or in the hospital that would like to be visited or needs visiting, please let our Minister of Visitation, Bill Shuck, know. He is more than happy to visit anyone homebound or sick. Feel free to reach via text or email.
