Bill's Retirement Celebration

Bill is officially retiring at the end of July, and we'd love to celebrate him! We encourage you to bring a dessert or side and join us for a celebration! This is also the perfect time to give him a card or even a gift card to show him how much he is appreciated.

Family Promise Week

July 13-July 19

While we may not host the families from Family Promise on our campus, we continue supporting them through sponsoring their meals three weeks out of the year, with one happening this week! We encourage you to give as you feel led to Family Promise through Lakewood.

Giving Closet Project

collecting through Aug 24

Our youth are collecting gently used and new clothing, hygeine items, and school supplies to benefit the Giving Closet Project which provides clothing at no cost for children and teens experiencing housing instability, going into foster care, etc. Collection points will be the youth room and the Fellowship Hall.

Quessua Mission in Angola

The Johnstons are traveling back to Angola Aug 5-20! Their goal is to collect $5000, and they are currently at $3903.81. We encourage you to give as you feel led. There is also an Amazon List for items needed for newborn kits that you can view by clicking the button below.
