Introducing your Library Card Design Contest Winners!
In July we launched the Library Card Design Contest. With our new branding and focus on serving and representing our community better, it was only fitting that we invite members of the community to design and vote on some new library cards.

Over 50 entries came in during the month from a variety of ages across three categories. At the end of July nine finalists were selected and we opened it up to the community of Grand Forks to vote for and select their favorites, one winner in each of three categories; Children, Tween & Teen, and Adult. Nearly 800 members of the community cast their vote and the race was a close one! Winners were announced on August 20th, the new cards are currently in production and will be available sometime in September.

Congratulations to our winners and thank you to everyone who entered, who voted, and who supported the artists and the library during the contest!
