Resolutions?
One Year-One Word
While Oneword365 as an official movement may be on pause, the idea behind it is still powerful.
A new year doesn’t magically create a “new you.” January 1st is just another day. But it does offer something meaningful: a chance to pause, reflect, and choose. To look back, look ahead, and decide, intentionally, who we want to be as we move forward.
That’s what choosing a word for the year is about. Not resolutions or pressure to do more, but a focus on being. A word that helps guide how you want to live, respond, and grow, through both the joys and the hard moments.
If you’re choosing a word this year, keep it simple:
- Focus on who you want to be, not what you want to accomplish.
- Choose a word that feels authentic to you.
- Don’t overthink it, often the right word is the one that keeps showing up.
We'd love to hear what word you’re focusing on this year, and why. Wherever you are in the process, you’re right where you need to be.
Remember: your word isn’t a rule or a measuring stick—it’s a guide. Not about doing more, but about becoming more fully who you were created to be.
